I remember watching this movie once on TV and enjoying it. Thanks for reminding me about it. One movie I really liked, starring Adam Samberg is Hot Rod (2007) a very underrated comedy

2024-08-14 04:17:27 +0000 UTCFor the most part I respect Mary's movie selection. Not this time. Both IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes gave it just above 50% of those who liked it. My career was marketing films to the public at Disney, MGM. This is an example of how movies are greenlighted ... a Saturday Night Live vehicle casting SNL comedians which usually guarantees box office and profit. Not in this case grossing $57 million, considered a critical and commercial failure with a budget of 57 to 70 MM. I had to fast forward the whole time hoping the story and comedy would get better. Fine for those who loved it, not begrudging those who did.
