It was good. I Am Legend, and The Pursuit of Happyness are my favorite Will Smith movies. I'm not looking forward to a world like this, but I believe it's coming.

I don't think there's anything Alan Tudyk has been in that I didn't like. Bruce Greenwood always plays a great antagonist - I think the only movie I've seen him in when he wasn't an antagonist was National Treasure 2 and when he played the President. And of course James Cromwell was fantastic. Know him from a lot of things including Sum of All Fears when he played the President and where Bridget Moynahan (Calvin) played Jack Ryan's girlfriend in that movie (it was the Ben Affleck Jack Ryan movie with Morgan Freeman).
Some good plot twists; the only real hint we had that it was Viki and not Robertson was the blue camera strips on the walls. That and while the movie did show the dangers of human greed, it put a larger emphasis on artificial intelligence and how over time it can/will evolve into something else. Robertson really reminds me of a more antagonistic John Hammond from Jurassic Park. Both eccentric billionaires who are absolutely certain they are not in the wrong and are absolutely certain they are in control - until it's too late.
Great movie, I'm certain I'll watch it again some point in the future.

I love this movie. For me it's more like a 4.5/5. The motifs and themes in it are all right up my alley, and I can easily ignore any minor defects. Calvin, Spooner, and Sonny were really likable characters—it's often a complaint of mine that modern movies contain too few likable characters.
I didn't think the movie was too predictable. I think it can sometimes feel that way when a movie has a plot that is comfortably easy to follow and not super complicated with twist after twist, the latter being more annoying than exciting, in my opinion. I thought the pacing was fine.
I do agree, though, that LaBeouf's character was pointless. He was introduced at the beginning of the movie only to show up exactly once towards the end. I wonder if there were maybe more scenes with him that just didn't make the final cut.

When Will’s character shows off his Converse shoes and says “vintage 2004” well that’s now actually accurate and I feel old lol.

You mentioned Alan Tudyk at the end, yeah he's great. He was also Steve the Pirate in Dodgeball, and the robot K-2SO in Star Wars: Rogue One, in addition to the stuff you mentioned him in.
The Scientist lady was John Wick's wife in John Wick, who we only see in flashbacks.
