Fun fact: parts of this movie were filmed here in Charleston, South Carolina. Some of the crew members stayed at a hotel next to Hollywood Video where I worked at the time. They rented a VCR and told us how much fun it was working with Jim Carrey. One of our customers got cast as an extra in the movie.
