Augh, I've just found out the hard way that the Amazon Prime version (the only streaming service that still has both movies as far as I can tell) no longer has subtitles for the Japanese parts in this movie. Oh well, I know them like the back of my hand anyway. I wish I still had a DVD drive for my PC right about now, since I still have my old physical copies which DO have subtitles.

2025-04-17 00:40:10 +0000 UTCI have never seen this before; it's like Tarantino got a bunch of moves together, like Game of Death, Sin City, and Battle Royale, and mixed in some early martial arts films with some spaghetti westerns, put them all in a blender and made this. I enjoyed that more than I thought I would. I'm looking forward to part two.
