Love the reaction so much! This is one of my all time favorite films! In the original screenplay by Shane Black (the creator of the characters) Riggs was supposed to die, bringing the franchise to an end. I think that ending would've made the series more memorable but the heads at Warner Bros wanted to make more movies, so they changed the ending. If you liked this you should check out more films penned by Shane Black (such as The Last Boy Scout and The Nice Guys). What i love about the uncut reactions is that Lola can pop in at any second! 😄🐱

2023-07-13 05:20:29 +0000 UTCGreat reaction Mary, this was delightful. I think I like Lethal Weapon 2 over the 1st one since the friendship between Riggs and Murtaugh is fully developed now. Also I loved the Community subway marketing reference. Bit of trivia; the female detective who died when they bombed her pool was in terminator 2 and Aliens. In Terminator 2 she was John Conner's stepmom, and in Aliens she played Vasquez the badass marine with the big gun and short hair that almost made it to the end. One of the other detectives who died in that assassination montage was the guy who played Hank from Breaking Bad.
