I watched Rambo 2 and 3 with you (from DVD). The last quarter of Rambo 3 contained some Russian parts that were subtitled but the majority of the subtitles did not contain translations of non-English speakers. The wound-cauterizing scene was epic.
I liked your 2 minute video on Afghanistan. There's a well-made Russian movie on the Soviet-Afghan war called 9th Company. It's like Full Metal Jacket or Jarhead from a Russian POV. I haven't watched Rambo 4 or 5 but will join you on that journey.

Great reaction Mary, I'm glad I finally go to rewatch this movie after so many years. I think I was a teenager the last time I saw it.
The movie was shot mostly in Israel, they also filmed some scenes in Thailand and in the state of Arizona in the U.S.
That actor you saw in the beginning was the dad on "That 70's show" I never watched it but I know he was in it. He was also the main bad guy in 'ROBOCOP" (1987) which I know you reacted to on here.
I like all the Rambo sequels to various degrees. None of the sequels are as good as the original First Blood in my opinion, that one is an all time classic.
The next one up is Rambo (2008). That one might actually be my favorite of the sequels. I do have to warn you though, as far as the action movie genre goes, Rambo (2008) might be the most violent action movie I have ever seen. The first 3 Rambo movies and even Robocop are like Disney films compared to Rambo 2008, so be prepared. (No joke)
