The reason this movie is hard to find comes down to Kevin Smith and that piece of shit Harvey Weinstein having a falling out. Kevin was selling a new movie called Red State at Sundance Film Festival. Harvey was talking through the entire screening and Kevin stood up to him and told him to leave. Harvey owns the rights to Dogma and will never give them up as long as he’s alive purely out of spite.
This was the end of their working relationship. It was a blessing in disguise for Kevin. He looked up to Harvey so much that he had actually named his new production company The Harvey Boys. Now Kevin gives all the money he makes on residuals to the Women in Film organization as well as $2,000 a month.

I can't get enough of this flick, especially when someone watches it for the first time. This is also one of those movies that's hard to find anywhere and lucky for me, I bought this on Blu-ray a few years back and I still watch it to this day!

Mary, I highly recommend checking out the John Hughes teen movies if the 1980s beginning with “Sixteen Candles”. Molly Ringwald is so great in those movies. Love her. You will, too. 🍒
