It took me a long time to watch this, but I'm glad I did. It's not as good as Rocky, or even close, but at least he was in it more than I thought he would be. You said, "Being a good fighter just doesn't happen overnight, and it wouldn't be very unrealistic." Have you heard of Mike Tyson? At age 20, he became the youngest heavyweight champion in history. Mike Tyson had a successful debut in his first professional boxing match, knocking out Hector Mercedes in the first 30 seconds of the round. It can happen, but not that often. One of these days, you need to check out the movie "Cinderella Man". It's a true story, and it's really good.
