great reaction i'm glad you liked it, i love this movie and the songs, like a latina "carnaval del barrio" always hits in my heart. this musical was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda (the guy who sells slushies) and i think you should react to more of his work (if you can), like Hamilton (there is a professional shot of the broadway show on disney+) or Tick tick boom (a movie that he directed), i think you will like them

2022-03-14 05:27:02 +0000 UTCAlabanza was gut wrenching. Abuela's song about her life before passing is so stunning and truly holds the heart of the movie. The actress who played her also originated the role on broadway in 2007, it is partially her story as well. Definitely a musical movie with a huuuuuge budget which is really uncommon.
