For Locke, this is his Island, his special place, and you can see that, the 'Island' send him messages, and he can feel things... for that he can think is his hatch and he is the one who have to open it ... I want to write so many thing but my english is not so good hahaha.. Greeting from Chile

2021-10-09 03:17:05 +0000 UTCMy theory about why Locke didn’t want to show people is that he kind of views it as his “thing” that he wanted to open and discover for himself. Like he is the one who is supposed to open it. Also maybe he thought people would be frightened and panic or something but that seems less likely.
