The death/wake thing at the end was also a way to show the differences from other sides of the game. Ray Cole died in a way that wasn't related to the game, had a wake full of friends, and even a whole eulogy dedicated to his honor. With Tosha, she got shot during an involvement with a stick-up, a wake full of people who killed her and want to kill her loved ones, and the closest thing to a eulogy for her was Bunk describing how she died with Landsman adding "she's still dead in a zip code that does not fucking matter".
