Year in Retrospect 2024

Hi everyone, Hiros53 here. Here is a little update from my side and a summary of how the year went for me. Imma put the update stuff first, so people can skip the personal stuff if they don't want to read that.

What you can expect in the near future:
-The finished Mansion story which is 8 parts and 30k words long. 

-More Nagisa Rewrite stories because I really like that format.

Alright, here comes the personal stuff:

What a year. I am honestly happy with what I have achieved this year, in all of my academics sense, private life and as a creator. In February I got to meet a lot of the closest friends I made online in person when I went to America alone for the first time, and it was a blast. Absolutely loved my time there and would do it again whenever the next chance arises.

Over the next months I managed to write stories for many different events together with Tsukishima, which were the Valentines event, the easter event, the halloween event, which is the one I am the most proud of, but also took the longest time to complete. This was truly a behemoth of a story, but I really wanted it to be good, so I put everything I had into it. The problem was just that I took so damn long writing it.

And that is the main issue I had with this year. The second half of the year, mainly in autumn, my academic life got really rough. To the point where I wasn't even sure if I had enough time for anything. That's why I also had to slow down my story output, which hurt me deeply. Since, you know, I love writing stories. And I love sharing my fantasies with others.

Around that time was when I gave AI another shot to help me write stories. I didn't want them to write everything for me, that's just boring. But rather, take my idea and put words on the screen, so that I have an easier time writing exactly what I wanted to write. After all, as the old saying goes: “It’s easier to correct someone who's wrong than it is to come up with something yourself.”

Since then I have put a lot of stories that were in my head but that I didn't have the strength to write into words. This is what is known as the 2am stories, since 2am is when I usually had time to write those types of stories. Expect more of them in the future, although right now i am still kinda embarrassed about them, so please be gentle on me XD

That said, despite this being a very stressful time, I really enjoyed this year as a whole. And I honestly hope that you had a good year too.
