Santa Help-out Part 7 (Naofumi Ifrit/Lamia Tg)

Jalira: Hello again, genie Jalira coming in from the Nagisa’s wish opportunity journalist service, welcome to the show. As you all probably know, Santa himself has recently reached out to Nagisa Fulkami, our friendly neighborhood goddess of darkness, and asked her for her very special kind of support. And that definitely means that we will see a lot more sexy monster girls around Santa's workshop in the near future.

Today I have a very special guest with me to interview who had been chosen by Nagisa’s whims to help out Santa this Christmas. Please, introduce yourself~

Naofumi: Gladly~ Hello and welcome to Santa’s Christmas Wonderland workshop of Miracles. My name is Naofumi Iwatani, head maid in charge of maintaining, cleaning and cooking for the entire estate. It's a massive pleasure to meet you all.

Jalira: Uhm… I have been wondering about that for a while now, but… you do know that your head and tail are on fire, right?

Naofumi: Indeed it is, my lovely. Ara ara~ Did I scare you~?

Jalira: A little bit? I guess I just wasn’t expecting to meet a maid that's on fire like… ever.

Naofumi: Hahaha! There is no need to worry about it, my dear. I am part Ifrit, the highest level fire spirit and that comes with some physical appearances of flames on my body. That's why my hair and parts of my tail are constantly burning, as the flames represent my motivation and life force.

So as you can see, I am very much excited for this interview~ Ara ara~

And although I can make my flames cool enough to be able to be touched, I would not recommend trying to surprise me as I might accidentally burn you, and I would like to avoid that.

Jalira: That sounds convenient. Good to know, then I try to not be scared of the fire. Now, I have prepared a few questions for you that our watchers are certainly eager to hear the answers to. Would you be okay with answering them for me?

Naofumi: Ara~? You should know that I am always ready to serve~

Jalira: I can tell. Hehehe. Alright, first question. You have been chosen to help out Santa this Christmas. What sort of role did you receive, what sort of body did you receive and how does your new body help you with your job?

Naofumi: It is an honor to declare that I am the head maid of the Santa Estate. I have already alluded to this earlier, but I am in charge of the maintaining, cleaning and cooking for the entire estate, as well as an extra pair of hands should any other of Santa’s workers need them desperately.

And in the evenings, I am usually tasked with helping Santa through his nightwork sessions and no, it's not what you think it is, you perv~.

No, Santa is a very hard working person, so even after dinner when most of them are done for the day, he continues to work in his office. Mainly doing the paperwork he didn't have time to look at during the day. And I am giving him company and support during these times, so that he isn't all alone in those late hours.

Jalira: That’s really sweet. But doesn’t your burning tail get in the way of your maid work?

Naofumi: Ara~? It might be for someone who is unskilled, but you are talking to the head maid of the Santa Estate here. I can use my Lamia tail like a really long additional arm and I don’t have to tell you how useful an additional arm for a maid can be.

And while yes, I do have to be a bit careful about not singing anything, my constantly burning hair and tail actually make for great sources of light in the middle of the night, which means I don't have to turn on the lights when I go through the workshop in the middle of sleeping hours.

Jalira: I see, but I have just thought about something. Doesn't helping out Santa at night mean that you are also working practically the entire day?

Naofumi: You are right and that might sound really impressive, but I assure you, I am not even close to half as hard working as Santa himself. I actually overwork myself a lot, which is why I also spend a lot of afternoons with our Lava slime golem. She might not be good at talking, but she is an amazing masseuse and we have fun calming down while playing video games together. She really knows how to disperse my stress better than anyone else, even myself. Makes me often wonder what exactly she is thinking, but I also know that it's none of my business. Hehe~

Jalira: Makes sense. Okay, next question. Why and how did Nagisa recruit you?

Naofumi: I don’t like to think back to that time very much, but where I came from before this, I was supposed to become a hero. But let’s say it didn't work out and I hated my life there. And at my lowest point in maybe my entire life, Nagisa appeared. I was distrusting of everyone at that point, but Nagisa didn't really give me a choice, declaring that I would help and serve Santa and then just pushed me through a portal. And honestly I am thankful for her, since it gave my life another meaning after that experience in that other world.

Jalira: Yeah, Nagisa just does that sometimes…

Naofumi: I am not complaining, although the trip through the portal sure was something else. Completely different from the almost instant Hero summoning I went through before. I felt like every aspect of my body and soul was completely in her hands, which at first I fought with everything I had, before realizing that there really was no need for that. She just cleansed me from everything bad, including my depression and everything about my body that got me there.

At first it felt like she was rubbing over my body to only get rid of my masculinity, you know, by rubbing my butt and breasts to make them presentable, or by making my waist smaller and even to give my face that alluring charm I work really hard to keep up every day. But I quickly noticed that she did so much more than that.

It almost felt like she pulled emotions out of my head and turned them into physical traits afterwards. All my sadness and depression, all those negative thoughts about mistrust were pulled out of my head by her gentle hand and straight into my legs. Which, as you know, couldn't handle the pressure and quickly stuck together to support each other. The more thoughts and emotions were pulled out, the more serpentine my lower half became. Until, voila, I got the bottom half of a Snake.

And my hatred of everything back there had a similar fate, literally igniting on my head as it used those feelings and emotions as fuel to spread down my body. As Ironic as it may sound, the further the flames spreaded, the calmer I became. And now, I am completely on fire and the happiest and most fulfilled I have ever been in years. Even if I am no longer human.

Jalira: This feels like an appropriate question again, but do you think you have your tail under perfect control by now?

Naofumi: Absolutely. I have to. My duty as a maid is to ensure to clean and keep the estate in perfect condition. Which self respecting serpentine monster girl working for such an important cause wouldn’t have their tail under at least perfect control?

Jalira: Sooo, yeah…. about that…

Naofumi: …which one?

Jalira: Err… Let's move on to the next question. How does a typical day of yours look like?

Naofumi: Usually I go to many different places, since I am also in charge of supplying food and drinks to everyone. But I don’t mind telling you what a day of mine looks like.

I wake up pretty early to organize breakfast for everyone. Usually I am not the one cooking that, but still the one organizing it. After that, I usually go to the office, the workshop, the construction site, the reindeer stable, the christmas tree garden, the cookie factory and then back to the office, typically in this order.

My job is to make sure that everyone is supplied with enough drinks and to clean up the pathways to the different facilities should any of them have collected dirt. Although dirt usually does not survive my burning trail, so cleaning up is usually not really that time consuming.

Jalira: You burn the trash away?

Naofumi: I burn the trash away. Thats a really good way of saying it.

After that, I usually cook lunch for everyone, and go on break afterwards. That's when I spend time with our resident thigh pillow. For a lot of hours, since my next duty begins when the workers start to get off work. When that happens, usually in the early evening, I am in charge of cooking lunch for everyone, and then spend the rest of the time as Santa’s personal maid, making sure all of his needs are met so that he can comfortably work for as long as he wishes.

Jalira: Wow, so you are everywhere and help everyone. That's really impressive.

Naofumi: A lot of small tasks to combine into a big help. That's the duty of a maid.

Jalira: Gotcha.On to the next question: Do you think you are an effective helper for Santa this Christmas?

Naofumi: Ara~? Am I supposed to praise myself now? Well if you insist~

The simple answer is yes, I think I am helping a lot. Yes, I am only doing a few menial tasks that anyone could do, but I am fast and am doing a lot of them. There are two ways of increasing your work quality by 20%. You either have someone who works on something so well that that one thing makes everything go 20% better. Or you have someone who can make 20 things better by a single percent.

And my goal is to be the perfect second type of person.

Jalira: From what you have told me you are on your best way on achieving that goal. Well, with that the interview is coming to a close. Is there anything you would want to say before we wrap things up?

Naofumi: To all heroes who hate the fact that they are heroes out there: Try being butlers or maids. Trust me, it's more fulfilling than it might sound at first glance.

Jalira: Welcome back to the second part of this interview, streaming live from the heart of Christmas itself with a very special guest. Everyone please welcome the man, the myth, the legend: Santa Claus!

Santa: Ho ho ho, everyone. Thank you for letting me be part of this show. I heard you had some questions for me again, and I will be happy to answer all of them as far as my secrecy allows it.

Jalira: That's good to hear. This year, a certain dark goddess named Nagisa has provided you with some exceptional girls to support you. One of them is a girl named Naofumi. For my first question: What do you think of her?

Santa: To answer this, let me quickly ask you a counter question. Have you had something in your life that you were sure you would never need in your life? Something absurd that a few other people of your standing have, you refused to get, but once you had a chance to try it out, you never want to go back to a life without it?

The head maid of the Santa estate Naofumi, as she calls herself, is exactly that sort of thing for me. Naofumi herself is an incredibly lovely lady in her own right, always willing to help and support, always trying to read the room and situation and provide that which is needed most. Although I have a hard time telling if she only does it because she thinks its her job or if she is just that kind in her soul, she definitely is one of the kindest and most supportive people I have ever met.

Jalira: I see, that makes the next question a bit redundant, but I am required to ask anyway. So do you think having her help out is something that made your life easier?

Santa: Ho ho ho~ I wonder if a person who always knows what everyone needs and gives it to them the quiet and most effective way possible makes ones life easier…

All jokes aside I can’t think of anything she does wrong, in fact, she does many things that I didn't even think possible. And that is now purely speaking about the way she can read the room. I have tried to pay attention to it, and it is actually incredible watching her just stand up from the table and get a drink, when thirty seconds later one of the girls raises her hand to ask for another glass, only for Naofumi to already stand behind her, completely ready for the request.

And she has probably told you about that already, but she often spends a lot of time in my office during the late hours while I do all the paper stuff, and having her serve you personally is something else. When I feel like complaining, she asks me to tell her to vent everything on her. When I want a refill, she has already filled up my glass. Whether it's water or milk and cookies, she is faster than I can even speak.

Naofumi is the girl I get to spend the most time with, since she is the one who I get to see my entire night shift long. And she is also the girl who constantly reminds me how incredible those girls sent by Nagisa truly are.

Jalira: Yeah, that does sound fantastical. But then again, with Nagisa everything is possible. Anyways, final question of the day: Would you say that Naofumi is a nice or a naughty girl?

Santa: This one is not as clean cut as you would probably think, as I don't feel like I know her that well personally. But she seems to know me so well that she can literally serve before I even think about askíng her about something. And if that does not constitute a nice status, i don't know what will. Ho ho ho~
