Crazy fact when my grandma past in 2014 she got buried in the same cemetery where the real Ritchie Valens was buried and saw his grave stone there. His mom past away like 3 months after they made this movie and was buried next to him. Great reaction i was waiting for u guys to react to this film.

You may recall from the Black Widow movie that Yelena's favorite song, the one that she and her "dad" Alexei sing together, is called "American Pie" by Don McLean. There was a lyric in the song that referred to "the day the music died." The song was about that plane crash that killed Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper.

2026-01-21 23:59:38 +0000 UTCIf you enjoyed this movie, you should consider watching The Buddy Holly Story (1978).It of course covers the same time as La Bamba because of the plane crash but the Holly story is about a music genius whose music influenced so many people. It also is well made and acted.
