The show was pitched at kids and young adults, but you can see how they introduce some complex themes - is Jet a hero, a freedom fighter, or a terrorist? Where's the line? Also - the title animation at the start is a good showcase of the different bending styles. Each of them are based on real martial arts - with Air being more evasive, Earth being more strong and direct, etc - matching the psychology of the different nations. One of the very cool details of this show <3
