So cool to see this one with you Magy. This is such a great movie and the 2nd part of the classic Cornetto trilogy with Simon Pegg & Nick Frost. Highly recommend the other 2 movies, in particular Shaun Of The Dead which I think is just a bit better than this. Amazing from you as always. You had me laughing so much with your comments throughout the movie.

You're watching us... but did you notice that I changed outfits half-way through the reaction?? :D This movie is so well written, it's actually worth re-watching because there's so many little details in the background. Some of over-the-top violence reminds me of some of the older Peter Jackson movies (he directed Lord of the Rings) You should really check out Braindead or Meet the Feebles to see some of his... other work. IIRC he's actually in this movie himself - as the Santa Claus who stabs Angel at the beginning. Also... "Reaper" is definitely pronounced more like "REE-per". You might get some funny looks if you say it the other way :D

IMO Hot Fuzz is the best of the Cornetto Trilogy, but all 3 are great in their own ways. Edgar Wright is the kind of filmmaker where *every* little detail is there for a reason. Things that seem like just throwaway jokes in the first half of the movie end up coming back later, and if you're really paying attention the movie actually tells you almost everything that's going to happen before the end. And his transitions and montages are fantastic! By the way, you spotted Walder Frey from Game of Thrones, but I don't think you noticed that Michael, the trolley boy, was the Hound!

Love this movie and yes you now need to watch "Shaun of the Dead" You should really consider watching "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" at some point
