The movie budget for this film was 35 million. It made 137 million in the box office. The reason for the low numbers is because it was in direct competition with crocodile dundee 2,Big, and Rambo 3.

We liked it so much that when my sister's son was born she named him Airk (Airk Thaughbaer is the red-headed soldier that was friends with Madmartigen). My nephew Airk live up to the name, as he became an Eagle Scout (the highest rank of Boy Scout and one few attain). He is an English Teacher now. This movie will always have a special place in my heart, right with The Goonies and Stand By Me.

2021-04-13 14:49:23 +0000 UTCThis movie is good but I can understand why it did poorly in the box office. I do know that Disney+ has already started casting roles for a Willow series. Some people consider this movie to be a cult classic but for me a true cult classic is Donnie Dorko which is an independent film that only made a profit of 3 million in the box office but was highly rated. It’s considered to be one of the best independent films of all time. I would highly recommend it. Nice Ice Age reference Mags. Either way good reaction. Keep up the good work.

Perhaps the beginning reminded you of the story of Moses, with the baby being sent down a river. Warwick Davis, who plays Willow, played the Ewok Wicket in Return of the Jedi. The man with the beard, sitting, playing the drum at 10:22, and then blowing the long tube at 12:15, is the actor Kenny Baker, who plays R2-D2 in the original Star Wars trilogy. It looked like Madmartigan led Sorsha to find Willow and Elora but the guard said "See, I told you we would find them without your help." (1:04:35) Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley, who played Madmartigan and Sorsha respectively, fell in love while filming this, and got married less than 4 months later. They were married about 8 years, and had two children. This movie was directed by Ron Howard (who also was also credited as director on Solo: A Star Wars Story). His daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard, remembers spending time at the age of 6 with her father on set while this movie was being filmed. She grew up to be an actress and now a director. She directed 2 episodes of The Mandalorian.
