This increase in CGI air theatrics wasn't good in my opinion. It's my number one complaint for superhero movies: CGI characters that don't look real.

Damn, fell asleep when you first posted and then had to work, so everybody else beat me to comments, lol. I never get embarrassed by his “ego” scene because I thought it was hilarious. I thought they missed the mark though because they went with an “emo” style which was popular at the time, when I though they should have gone more of a dangerous and aggressive attitude. The director Sam Raimi had a different vision for this movie because they were eventually going to make Spider-Man 4 with this cast, but the studio and a few other things got in the way and we ended up with this movie. The black suit is a big part of Spidey’s history so it’ll be interesting to see what the new movies do with it. Others mentioned the Venom movie, which I would also suggest, but keep in mind, that movie is also a little different from the original comics so some things don’t line up. I haven’t seen Into the Spiderverse, but a lot of younger people really enjoyed it, so since you like Spidey, I’d suggest giving it a watch as it also shows different versions of the character. Always fun, can’t wAit for the next vid.

It is a joy to watch you cringe seeing Peter go "bad", with his finger pointing and dancing, we all felt that embarrassment watching this movie :D As a side note, definitely check out Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse, it's a great animated movie.

2 is still the best for me. But some people were really harsh on this movie, sure it's got problems but some of the criticism it gets is really overblown sometimes.

This is probably the most hated Spider-Man movie of all time between all 3 versions of Spider-Man from Toby Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland. It also had probably the cringiest movie montage ever. It also doesn’t follow the comic books which also made people hate the movie. Stacy Gwen, the blonde girl, is actually Peter’s first love in the comics then Mary Jane. This is what made me not like the movie they could have just made her a random girl instead of his first love in the comics. Which is why I like the The Amazing Spider movie versions with Andrew Garfield more than the Toby Maguire version which you have seen now. Also the “black spider” is called Venom which I would in courage you to watch they really did a disservice to the fans in Spider Man 3. Also Tom Holland Spider-Man is rumored to be in Venom 2 so I would watch Venom before Venom 2 comes out in June of this year. Also would in courage you to watch the second version of Spider Man with Andrew Garfield. You have already since the first version with Toby and the third version with Tom all you need is the second version then you can decide who is the best Spider-Man. Even though didn’t enjoy the movie I would like to know if you did? Keep up the great reactions Mags.
