2021-03-24 06:11:14 +0000 UTCI think the trilogy shows an intent to tell a complete story of a character (although other than having a beginning and end it no more in-depth than any other Batman films) but starting with Dark Knight and continuing with DKR he let that get away from him. As individual films, the first is definitely mostly about Bruce Wayne/Batman, but in the last two the villains became the focus - and Bane wasn't even interesting or intelligible.

And this time he wanted to make a trilogy where the story was about Bruce Wayne/Batman. It's one of the things that many people praised about his trilogy. I'm guessing your comment is only about The Dark Knight? I think it's because Heath Ledger played the role so well, so his scenes stand out in people's minds more. So I can understand how you would feel the movie is focused on him. But I still think this trilogy is the first time we got a complete character arc centered around who Batman really is.

2021-03-02 05:28:26 +0000 UTCI was a bit skeptical when it was announced that Heath Ledger would be playing The Joker, but the more I thought about it, the more the idea grew on me. Then, my friend Jason who's a huge comic book collector and fan watched it in the theater and told me Ledger nailed it better than anyone. After seeing it not long after that, I definitely agree. Jack Nicholson was essentially playing "Jack" and his Joker was more schtick where Ledger truly was terrifying. Magy, you're going to love the next movie even more.

He will always be alive through his movies interviews in our minds and in our hearts. Magy I’m happy you got to see this movie Heath Ledger portrayed the character of the Joker amazingly. Katie Holmes went away of movies because of her relationship with Tom cruise. The look alike. Leger's Joker was amazing. A different take on the character more chaotic and psycho as you said. The third one is a good closure, not as good as this one though.

2021-02-23 18:16:46 +0000 UTCLove this movie but much prefer the look and feel of the Tim Burton movies which has my fav Gotham. The Dark Trilogy on there own are amazing much more modern focused on realism rather than the Gotham stuck in the 1940s with Art Deco designs which follows the Comic Books. Highly recommend the Animated Series if you have free time one of the best animated super hero cartoons up there with the X-Men cartoon in my opinion its better.
