2021-03-02 00:16:01 +0000 UTCI was disappointed with "Bram Stoker's Dracula", but at least it followed the book. I personally would recommend "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein" which also followed the book.

I think the intention was that it should be a tragic death, but they didn't understand that for a tragic death to work in a movie, it has to be expected or a choice to sacrifice to save others. Neither of those things happened here. This movie was a failure at the North American box office when it came out. It's simply over-done and lacked actual emotional connection with the audience. It's just a lot of noise. It was at a period when CGI was blowing up and it was a particularly egregious example of throwing too much on the screen, having an overly-complicated story, but not connecting with the general audience.

2021-02-23 16:37:07 +0000 UTCIf you like vampire movies you should watch Blade all 3 movies since it’s a Marvel character and they’re going to introduce his character in the MCU. Plus if you like werewolves you should watch Teen Wolf the series I think it’s definitely better than the movies.
