3D to 2D Animation Example

It definitely helps with the over all form consistency, though smaller details will need further effort to make them less jittery, but I won't worry about that right now.

I can definitely agree you shouldn't overwork yourself! We're all fans of your work and your health and comfort are important, too. :)

Certainly good for consistency of form, also great for a rough idea of environmental lighting

Thanks! Yea, classic Disney animations used 24 frames per second for their 2D animated films, which is why they look so smooth. I used 20 fps for this turn table animation, though I over estimated the speed because the frame rates drops some in Clip Studio Paint, where I animated this project. As nice as Disney animations look, my wrists and neck pain won't be able to handle doing 24 fps of animation long term lol. My target is between 12 to 15 fps give or take.

I think the fluidness is... a little professional? Like, in a sense of how smooth Disney animation is, so either way, I'm a fan!

He looks sooo hott

Well, it is technically a drawn animation, I drew over the 3D model layer by layer, which was 32 layers in total. To make it look more 2D I'll probably slow down the frame rate to give it some choppiness so it's not so uncannily fluid.

Wow! That's impressive and looks almost like a drawn animation. :D
