In the last episode, you finally got to talk more with the Dragon of the Desert Hurik and he hinted that there is a special stone slab out in the deserts with the markings you have been researching. He agreed to take you there at dawn in exchange for more food.

But what you didn't know, is that he meant Dawn 1 week from now. Since Dragon sleep cycles typically last for a week.
