Devlog #59 - Pre-release

Alright I'm finally back, got back in last night and got straight to work. Being on travel for a whole week messed things up a lot but also gave me plenty of time to work on the project code and script wise. Unfortunately, not render wise.

So where we at?

.35 is about 4,000 lines of script. I added a ton of new and great scenes that I think will fix the pacing of .35 which was too quick in my opinion. Too many girls, not enough time. Worked Evelyn back into the script and super excited to have her back into the fold for the new release. Too many girls but you added another? Yeah I did. I'm a content whore. I love making cool content.

So you're releasing?

Yes, just not the full .35 since I had about 2 and 1/2 scenes left to do but over the week I wrote so much more it won't get rendered over this weekend. What I did do was write in a stop point which is rendering now so I have a point where I can release the existing content.

Wait this makes no sense!

Well, what I'm going to do is release part of .35 to $25 tier supporters and over the next several days release it down the tiers. This version will be called .34 and will be an update only. Android we'll do a full release for you. This will essentially allow roughly half the content of .35 to be release either tomorrow or Monday.

So we get new content but... does it move the story forward?

YES! We're done with updates to old content. Whatever is there is there. We're only pushing forward and I'm super excited to bring you this content. There was a sneak peak because I messed up a variable last release that allowed you to move into the first scene of .34 but ROLLBACK to the end scene menu! That scene has a lot more that you won't want to miss!

Karma System!

The Karma system is fully working but has little value RIGHT NOW. It has major value moving forward. See previous Devlog for details on that. Girls have preferences now.

Girl Preferences?

Regarding girl preferences, that has now been fully implemented code wise. Girls will have a preference on their preferred sexual activities. Depending on which route you are on, a neutral spirit will be able to reveal their preferences for any girl that is neutral. Same for the light and dark paths. The reveal is outlined in dialog then reflected in the character dataset you can access from the top left corner of the screen.

So when do I get Content?!

I will start releasing tomorrow or Monday and you should get it based on your tier. All tiers will get .35 at the same time but in the mean time. .34 will filter down through the tiers while .35 is finished. There is so much more than I originally planned I can't really articulate the updates and changes.

Will this be an Update Only version?

Yes. You will not need to download the entire game. If you have .33 you are gold. Just download and install the update and you will get all content. No need to restart!
