Devlog #58 - Pre-release

Alright, it's been too long since I've done one of these. The quick and skinny is .35 is nearly done. There about three major scenes left to do (yes, I added more like always) but the story is really good. Join my discord and get the supporter benefits of sneak peaks! Now onto the update.

What's in .35?

Several new love interests are in this build along with scenes with existing girls in a new manner. We, the MC, will meet Brenna, Angie, Zerna, Indy, and one more as new potential Love Interests. We also have scenes with Mary and Emma whom we met back in .3 clinic scene.

The vast, vast majority of .35 occurs at the new apartment and surrounding areas. Clothing shops, lingerie boutiques, eatery, etc.

There is also new visions that are quite the spicy version. Make SURE you rollback to the summary end scene from the last build.

New Pathways

Upon the beginning of .35 you will encounter a dream sequence that will sum up your choices up to this point. It will put you on a pathway but give you an opt out if you were on the extremes to jump back to the center (most options) but the extremes have their own unique scenes. Your choice. The system is working perfectly in all of my testing.

The pathways will be the dark path (bad guy), the light path (good guy), and the gray path (middle of the road). This will allow players of various styles to enjoy the content their way with the dialog reflecting it.

Karma Control

The new karma system has now been implemented. It allows you to view your karma via the character database in the top left hand corner of the screen. Depending on your choices dark path (negative), Gray Path (middle), and light path (positive) you will see your score. As you make choices that number will adjust.

It ranges from -10 to 10. Choose wisely.

Time to talk about the Final Chapter

FINAL CHAPTER?! Emotional Damage! We're almost done?! No. Not at all but we needed the systems to deliver the ending for the game. These systems are done. Long story short, if you pick the light path you will want your karma as high as possible. Dark path same but as negative as possible. The Gray path to be near 0.

If you maintain these numbers you will get the good ending. If they deviate too much then you will not get the 'good' ending. However hard choices are coming for all paths. So you will have to make meaningful choices.

So when do we get this?!

I'm working hard on it now but it won't be ready this weekend, most likely. Never know. If not the end of this long weekend (Memorial Day weekend) then next. It's dicey right now so I cannot make a call just yet. There's a lot of content to be made but I have a lot of time tomorrow. I might be able to get it done. Otherwise next weekend since I have to travel for work starting Tuesday and not sure which day next week I will get back to finish it.
