Devlog #57 - Something About Mary .35

Alright, we've made good progress on this release so far. This weekend I have some events already scheduled IRL so not as much work will get done but I'm working hard over this week to get ahead. So far, not too bad.

So what will .35 be when we finally get it?

It will be a direct continuation from .33 and .325 where the MC went to sleep after their new apartment was gained and the dinner scene. From there we go into a special 'April Vision' which is very important. There will be three paths available. These are calculated based on your choices up until this point.

This update will end with the first time jump to the girls being pregnant. That the goal and we're getting there pretty quickly. I'm working on some of the early animation scenes that I skipped while working on .33.

Good Path

The MC is benevolent and loving. You will get the scene that will allow you to choose pure light path or the gray path (more options). The pure light path is that you are forever the good guy and making choices as a good guy. If this path is chosen you will be locked into this path until "Main Story" begins. There are warnings before you select this. Significant control over all content but not total.

Gray Path

This path is for players that went mostly middle of the road or split choices for April and Emily. Light path and dark path choices will have the option to join this pathway to avoid excessively Good or Dark content. Best of both worlds for most players. Total control over all content.

Dark Path

Just what it sounds like. The path of abuse and worse. You can lock this in for all future scenes before the "Main Story" begins. It is just what it sounds like. The bad guy content. You still have some control what you encounter but it's pretty dark. You will get warnings but this is not for the feint of heart. Think closer to Raptus or Blackheart but maybe even worse. We'll see. You have choices but we are going there on this path. If previous choices got you here you will have a bail out option to join the Gray path before we go down this path.

The Wrap Up

.35's goal is to move us closer to the Apocalypse main story. See the fruits of our labor and enjoy them. That's where we're at and pushing towards.

When do I get it?

Excellent question. It won't be this weekend. I am hoping for release on Memorial Day weekend (Weekend after This Weekend). It's still too early to say for sure but that's the goal and so far, not doing too bad. Will send out another Devlog this weekend sometime with a progress update.
