Monster tamer, traveler, wanderer, king, but more importantly: the dad, Madason!! From Dragon Quest 5!!

DQ5 is a unique, very UNIQUE RPG where you see the entire life of the protagonist (he's NOT the hero of the story). You see Madason's birth, childhood, teenage years (as a slave, nonetheless...) then his growth into adulthood, marriage, having kids, etc.

But I love thinking about his LIFE during that time. How he was known as a monster tamer (he has a HUGE sabertooth cat, Saber, not pictured here, but maybe someday), how he grew up as a man.

Alright, Panel 2!! I'm really getting a flow for those, so I'd love to do 1-2 panels per week, and eventually 3 per weeks! This one was a throwback at when I started the "nostalgia project", which felt a bit flat for me, so I decided to continue it through panels here! 😁
