You guys were talking about the sanctuary cities, and sure as shit, the Administration released a fact sheet about 'bipartisan border agreement'. Lot of people were pointing out the chance in terminology to 'newcomers' for aliens living in the country, but the first thing in the statement is "The bill also includes $1.4B for cities and states who are providing services..." When Republicans were snarking on the Blue governments for having to sleep in the bed they made I was saying all along that as anger increased, all that would happen was that the FedGov was going to airdrop shitloads of cash on these governments. You want you patron's allegiance, you do it. Simple as that, learned it from y'all. Just like COVID they're going to plow billions and billions of dollars into the coffers of their patronage network, the governments, the NGO's that will be tasked with managing these 'newcomers', and of course the aliens themselves. "Here's a cash card, welcome to America. (If you want to keep this coming, you know what to do)."
