Coming off the back of editing the marathon half hour German slot machine video I was more than a bit tired, so the next video was supposed to be something easy to make.
Unfortunately every piece of tech I touched for a couple of days failed on me in some way. That meant I only had enough time left to make this rather by the numbers tear-down of a new personal cassette player. Don’t be surprised if you get a feeling of deja-vu with this one. There’s very little here I haven’t covered in some way before.
I’ll take a couple of days out now to recharge which will hopefully get some creative juices flowing again before I start fresh on a new project.

Well whoever that chap is - I’d like to tell him that I’m grateful as the video that resulted from his suggestion whilst being a half baked quickly assembled shambles is many many times more successful than one that some bloke spent hundreds of pounds, five years and one vertebrae putting together about German slot machines.

2021-03-16 10:10:37 +0000 UTCI wonder who this chap was that suggested this device. I’m sure he was obviously very handsome. And probably in a (what felt like an endless) 3 week battle with Apple and PayPal over an Apple Music subscription that he was billed for 3 times. Which didn’t even work on his phone. In which he had to cancel a PayPal direct debit, his Apple Pay account and his debit card. Only to discover Apple Pay was his Patreon payment method. Which the notorious duo finally refunded him for 2 days ago. Of course that’s a very weird and detailed description of someone I’ve never met. I bet he has 8 of these handheld things (he doesn’t). He probably cancelled his gym membership finally tho, after threatening it for 7 months with almost fortnightly emails complaining about poor service.
