P.S. There's a reference right at the end of this video to a character name out of South Pacific that won't make any sense as the joke it refers to was removed for the sake of decency. It was regarding the similarity to a Maud Adams title role in a 007 film - definitely a joke best left on the cutting room floor.

I almost brought a box of those recordable laserdiscs about a dozen years ago on a local New Zealand site as a purely collectable item. So I guess they were used over in this part of the world as well.

2019-11-14 13:05:37 +0000 UTCI hope you copyrighted the OddCast name, someone will steal it . I saw those WORM drives used for data backup many years ago when I used to frequent server rooms, never seen the broadcast side.
