So this month's winner is, "With the power of fourth-wall breaking, Gwenpool kidnaps and hypnotizes Leia, Padme, and Rey, turning them into bikini-clad slavegirls."
In case anyone's wondering, most of the views expressed in this comic on nerd shit reflects some of what I believe. For example, I do think Rise of Skywalker was a bad movie. To me, it felt more like J.J. Abrams' mediocre fan fic than a proper Star Wars movie. Also, may I just say that J.J. Abrams does not get enough shit for Star Trek Into Darkness. Dude decides to remake one of the best Star Trek movies but in a way that's bad. Sorry, but Benedict Cumberbatch does not hold a candle to the glory that was Ricardo Montalban.
Also, speaking of things J.J. Abrams gets shit for, his Spider-Man comic, which is mentioned here, really isn't that good. Granted, it isn't finished yet, but from what I've read I haven't been wowed. It centers on Peter Parker as a parent, but unlike the other two times Peter Parker's been a father (Spider-Girl and Renew Your Vows) he's an absentee parent and his kid's a shit. Gotta be honest here, Peter Parker as an absentee father rubs me the wrong way. Dude's whole schtick is "with great power comes great responsibility." What greater responsibility is there than being a good parent?
By the way, I also do think that Adam Driver isn't all that hot. Keep in mind, despite the fact that all my work focuses on women, I'm also pretty fond of the menfolk. There are plenty of guys I can look at and say, "Damn, that lad's hawt." Adam Driver is not one of them, and I never got the appeal of the guy.
Sorry for rambling so much. I have a lot of opinions on a lot of things, and this seemed to be a decent place to talk about them.
Anyway, enjoy!
