2025-07-06 18:27:12 +0000 UTCNot a condemnation, but a note: "gravity". I found myself recognizing the repetition of it here. Perhaps you intended it as a thematic element; something constant. But it stuck out to me and actually brought me out of the narrative for brief moments. Of course, this could just be because I am in the process of beta reading a friend's first attempt at a novel, so I am viewing things through a more critical lens. But food for thought nonetheless.

The way Lily carries all that emotional weight, and how Marcus just gets her without needing to say much, is beautifully done. I reckon a bit more of Jake’s inner turmoil might’ve added another layer of heartbreak, but honestly, this was powerful stuff. Absolutely brilliant — as your stories always are!

2025-07-03 23:48:37 +0000 UTCThis one surprised me. I’ve said before , I let the characters and the story take me on a journey. I don’t always stick to the original plan. I set out thinking this would be a week of sneaking around. Lily and Marcus fucking behind Jake’s back in every room of the house. Jake finding clues, but never really seeing it until it's over...That kind of story. And yes...there will be plenty of stories where the filth, the heat, the raw sex is the main driver. But this one became something else...It was rooted in something deeper — Reality. Emotion. Love. Betrayal. Cost. Reward. Maybe it’s just my “emotional time,” but I got lost in this one in a different way. Not mainly in the lust…but in the ache of the heart. And that’s rare for me.
