Poll: Next destination!
Added 2019-12-14 17:38:19 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
So here it is; it's been a long time since we did a poll for a main area, haven't we? We've brought back the list from the previous poll, from before the port-town, and updated it with some areas we've received requests for. Without further ado, the choices this time:
- Volcano: The main map will likely be a climb up to the mouth of the volcano, with accompanying maps being underground forges, dwarven roads, and caves.
- Ice Mountains: A frozen fortress' exterior and a path up to it as the main course - some interiors, forests, and frozen lakes to accompany it.
- Deserts: Bone ruins, desert shanty-towns, archaeology sites, and half-buried temples. The main map itself will likely be an unstructured area ringed with bones and ruins.
- Feywild-Underdark : a 50-50 split between a fantastical forest and a feydark/underdark version of it, a subterranean woodsy area with strange plants. We've done quite a bit of forests before, so to avoid having too many pieces of forests, we'll be branching out into caves instead.
- Pastoral: A number of hamlets and villages, with the accompanying maps being everything you could possibly need in these areas: the windmills with the underground chambers, oversized barns, farms and canals. This one may be a smaller theme, around 4 weeks, since at the moment we don't have that many ideas and we've done some of these in previous themes.
And that's all! Have fun on the vote! You can pick as many as you like: we'll run with the most popular, but if it ends up a very close tie with a large lead for any two, we'll slot both of them in as the next two themes.
Comments
I always love desert maps, but my current game has a lot of wintery aspects to it, so the ice mountains would be most useful for me. XD Although feywild/underdark stuff is always fun, too.
