Even if he managed to beat Bocca, the doorโs shut, and if a new threat hits Earth, Lakia and Hanto are on their own. Without Shouma in the human world, Hanto loses his โsnack source,โ leaving Lakia completely solo. I know thatโs thinking a bit far ahead, but Shoumaโs power relies on the human world, which he needs if heโs going to keep fighting and protecting people (and Granutes). As for Nyelv, it feels out of character that he didnโt anticipate Boccaโs countermeasure, imo. If Shouma couldโve done anything differently, it wouldโve been to confide in his allies before making that choice. Heโs done this before with Sachika, so he should know better by now.

2025-08-11 01:26:01 +0000 UTCThe whole thing with "Shouma not thinking it through" with Nyelv's offer, I get he could've rejected Nyelv but as he isn't strong enough himself to stop Bocca, it was the best plan available to take a gamble.. I'm curious what you think what else Shouma could've done better than what Nyelv planned? It's messed up but it makes sense.
