The Best Fantasy Quarterbacks for 2018

It's finally here! After some tweaking of my initial rankings during the first couple weeks of training camp (like adding Andrew Luck back into the mix), I at long last had time to record my fantasy quarterback special.

These are an early preview of the first update to my overall fantasy rankings, which will be released after this weekend's preseason games when I inevitably juggle everything around a bit (again). Let me know what you think in the comments!

The Best Fantasy Quarterbacks for 2018

Does anyone have the updated rankings I have not received them

Hello, can you send the excel spreadsheets to kylemani1@gmail.com. I recently found out about you from Harris football. Thanks

Hey, I love your insight! I will be sure to spread the word. Can you send me the excel spreadsheets like in your "how to draft" video? RJP753@gmail.com

Great stuff bro! Could you send over excel sheets at vinit506@gmail.com - that would be highly appreciated

Hey, great stuff man. If you could send over the excel sheets that would be awesome! -benhedgeFTW@gmail.com

Hey can you send me the excel sheets broken down by position? Sjcohen96@hotmail.com

If Luck is 100% healthy then really there is no ceiling for how productive he can be. I do think he has some good weapons to work with like T.Y., Hines, Mack, etc, and this is easily the best OL he's ever had as well. Overall that offense has a ton of upside. The only thing that's really holding Luck back in these rankings is just his durability, but if that checks out I could see him finishing comfortably in the top five.

As a Giants fan your game-plan was excellent and spot on. I'll be at that game and can't wait to see OBJ and Ramsay battle. If you're still sending your fantasy rankings I'd be much obliged. -coltoen@gmail.com

How much, if at all, would your rankings change for half PPR as opposed to full? Any chance you plan on putting out half PPR rankings at any point? Thanks

Incredibly surprised at how low you have Garoppolo. Watching his highlights it seems like he throws the ball with so much ease compared to other quarterbacks. Easily one of the quickest releases I've seen. Also , he's got Shanahan. Any particular reason he's ranked so low on your list?

Surprised to hear that you think Luck will be in the Cam Newton range even if healthy. Care to elaborate? Seems like they now have a better Oline and will likely be a pass heavy team. Given a healthy luck, you can't see him outproducing russell wilson (who has no weapons) and Wentz who is also coming back from injury? I personally find it hard to take anyone other than Rodgers above Luck if I knew he was healthy.

Oh, I would also love the rankings if that is something we are allowed to ask for!

I think Watson is going to surprise a lot of people this year! Also, fantasy rankings sent

I think if they put Jordy at X and Amari at Z it should work out better for both of them. Jordy is a better hand fighter at the line and definitely more physical against press, whereas Amari needs a bit more space to work his magic. Hopefully they do that, because everyone will benefit.

You got Diggs AND Ryan? That's a great deal

I'll have them posted on the Patreon in the coming week! :)

I look at it this way - the Jags are going all in on the run game and defense for this season. As soon as they got a lead on the Steelers in the second half in their regular season matchup, they never passed the ball again. Bortles didn't throw at all with like 24 minutes of game clock left. If the Jags truly are blowing teams out again, Bortles will never, ever produce. They run too damn much. Conversely...that's great for Fournette owners lol.

In the first three rounds? Probably just Rodgers, Watson, and maaaaaybe Wentz and Wilson. Round four is when I'm starting to think about Cam and Stafford, but likely round five for them. It depends on how fast QBs are going and who else is left on the board. As for which ones I'm reaching for, definitely Watson and Stafford. Those are my guys this year.

Awesome video as always, I personally am too cautious to draft Watson that early, but he was great last year in his short time starting last year and I think he could still play at the same level. Whenever you have the time, could you send me your full rankings spreadsheet to ryan.wuebben@gmail.com? I appreciate it

Great content as usual! I'm definitely going to be favoring your recommendations for my fantasy drafts this season. Could you email me the full rankings? matteproctor@gmail.com

If it's 6 pts per TD then yeah I would move everyone up a round or two.

Brett Kollmann

Hey Brett I love your content, also can I get those fantasy rankings please? venukunche@gmail.com

Hey Brett, long time fan first time poster and I want to start by saying that you produce HANDS DOWN the best damn NFL content on the web. You mentioned Amari's inconsistency and not knowing where to fall on him, Bucky Brooks has a great article that seems to pin down Amari struggling with press coverage. I'd love to get a real film guy's take on it: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000860769/article/amari-coopers-struggles-jaguars-nflbest-secondary-more

Great analysis! I traded Wilson for Ryan in a sf league to get up to Digg's

Hi, can you post some link to Google Sheets or something where we can track the updated lists? Thanks,

I feel people are sleeping too much on Bortles. Not saying he's an elite option, but last half of the season he was 4th in overall QB scoring and really stepped it up in the playoffs. This year, he's got a lot of continuity, an upgraded O-line with Norwell, no more starting rookies on the offense, and a better receiving core. I wouldn't be shocked at all to see him end the season as a QB1.

What QBs are you taking in 2-QB leagues? I guess for varied answers 1. What QBs would you draft in the first 3 rounds if you're focusing away from RB/WR? 2. If you wait to grab QBs til round 5+, what QBs are you grabbing? 3. Stratratgy thrown out, which 2-QBs do you reach for or grab regardless of ADP, betting on a top 5 finish?

What would you advise if the QB Passing Touchdowns were 6 points. Would you bump the QB's up one round from this chart? or would you stick to this? This is my big money league, and it seems QB's go a lot quicker.
