Progress Report | A Petal Among Thorns Remaster - 11/02/2023
Added 2023-11-02 13:48:36 +0000 UTCI'm halfway through reviewing Chapter 4. After carefully reading through APAT, I did notice a lot of issues with the script. I can see now that Chester's reservations does drag on for too long, and it does get a little annoying. I'm not going to do any major re-writes though, so that's just going to be how it is.
However, I have been removing a ton of 'And's. I start sentences with 'And' all the time. I did not realize I was doing that. I'm cleaning that up, and adding little things here and there. I had to revise one of Chuck's speeches. Other than that, it all looks really good.
Whenever I go through my works, I'm always reminded how funny I am. If nothing else, at least I can make me laugh.
I'm not going to have a progress report on Monday. I've been putting all my efforts into this Remaster this week. I also added a little extra scene. It's not a lewd scene unfortunately. That would just take way too long to create.
I should have the beta done by this weekend. Hopefully the testers can take some time to review it over the weekend, and we'll have the Remaster released next week.

All that said, you're the only adult VN creator I've saught out outside of Itch or Steam and it is because you write a slow burn that is well developed and uniquely engaging. You've got a talent for it. Good luck in your continued development though!
