Progress Report - 04/03/2023

The build is pretty much complete. I've sent it off to the Beta testers, they've gone through the game and highlighted all the bugs. All that is left is to eliminate all the errors and we'll have a release hopefully tomorrow.
I spent the entire weekend working on my PC. One of my GPUs is overheating and I couldn't figure out why, so I tore it all down, changed up some components, rebuilt it, and the problem persists. I cannot seem to locate the issue, and I cannot render with a PC that is constantly overheating.
Not to worry, I've decided to disable the GPU that is overheating which means I'll no longer have that issue. But it also means I'll be working with one GPU. It's not ideal, but I'm too exhausted to keep working on this. If you ever get a chance to build a liquid cooled PC, don't. Don't do it.
Give me one or two more days to clean everything up, and I'll have the build out to you. Thanks for your support, and stay hydrated.

2023-04-03 14:56:36 +0000 UTCI had the same thing happen. I bought an MSI AIO liquid cooler for my CPU, and it died in 3 months. Fans all the way from now on.

2023-04-03 14:30:35 +0000 UTCI've only done AIO liquid cooling, and only on the CPU. The 1st one had super high ratings, and worked amazing until it didn't. Apparently, the liquid they used caused corrosion somewhere, and clogged everything up, which eventually killed the pump motor. I switched to a bigger name brand, and haven't had any problems since.

2023-04-03 14:28:42 +0000 UTCExcited for the update, but No on liquid cooling. If anything ever goes wrong, the amount of work to fix anything is not worth it. I'll stick with my large coolers with dual 120 fans and as many 120's as I can stuff in the case.
