Hey fans,
This is going to be a long one. Bear with me.
The No Nixie path is getting nixed. The issue with the No Nixie path is that Nixie is important to the plot I have envisioned. I'm going to try to take into consideration agency on my next projects following The Rose Garden trilogy.
This coming update is going to have a lot of reveals. If you've invested in the story to this point, you won't want to miss this release. celebrate is getting extended so that's going to take a lot more time, but it's also perhaps the best looking scene I've ever made. It's also extremely sexy.
I have two appointments coming up. One is for Invisalign getting installed in my mouth on Aug 22nd. I hope to have the release out before this date. The second is a cosmetic surgery on Sept 13th that's a little more intense. I definitely want to have the release out before this date. I might be on my ass for a couple of days after the Sept 13th surgery, but hopefully not longer than that.

We are going to see Rose return home finally. She has a lot to talk to you about so the later half of this release is going to be text heavy, but important.
On to some bad news. Mary from Steam, who banned Petal, has struck again. She's slapped Penny for Your Thoughts with the 'adult' tag, despite there being no adult content in the Steam version of the game. I actually worked really hard to remove all the adult content from the Steam version.

This was extremely disrespectful too. She didn't tell me why, or what I could do to fix the game to have the Adults Only tag removed. Now it's false advertising because Penny's game has no adult content in the Steam version.
What does this mean? It means Steam is going to make my life as difficult as they can. It's the platform where I'll make the most money by an incredible margin, and it's also going to be the platform that actively wants to crush my soul and eat my bones.
To combat this, I am going to make some changes to my work after The Rose Garden trilogy. I want to grow as a company. I don't make art to make money, but I do make money so I can make better art. I've hired on a coder, I'm working with an analyst, I'm keeping my hardware upgraded, and the assets I use in my visual novels aren't cheap. It all costs money.
Whatever the future holds for Keys to My Lockheart, I'm going to do my absolute best to continue bringing great stories with exciting content to you guys.
Thank you all for your support and understanding. And remember, stay hydrated!
