Progress Report - 06/27/2021

Dear Supporters,
I've made exceptional progress on Petal's game. It'll be finished this coming week. I'll still have to do the outro, add music, test it and do some polish but it should be ready in about a week.
After Petal's game is released, I'll resume taking polls for custom renders and start doing my live renders every other Monday and Thursday. I'll also start working on Penny's game and Petal's game simultaneously again.
I'll be eager to hear everyone's reaction to Petal's game. Right now it is sort of a side project that I'm doing when I'm a little burned out on Penny's game because Penny's game is extremely ambitious and difficult.
I've come to adore Petal. She's a lot like Avalon in how sweet and adorable she is. Petal is loving, caring and affectionate. She loves attention, praise and compliments. Petal won't have any trauma in her background so this will be more about you changing directions in what your relationship is with her and how you both handle that new direction.
I hope you'll all give this new game a try because I'm counting on it appealing to a larger audience. I need a win. I have not been doing well in this market in terms of success so this game is my attempt at catering to the majority. Fingers crossed!

I replied to this but it looks like it didn't post. Sorry about that. Petal is absolutely my sell out game. I have to start garnering at list a little more support or there's no way I'll be able to continue doing this forever. A tropey, cliche game with my own person spin might be pretty awesome. We'll see. I hope you enjoy it. But I also completely agree with you. I wish my passion projects appealed to a larger majority. Whatever happens, I'll continue doing my best! And then you have the Truth or Dare, Clothes Changing and Peeping tropes that people tend to enjoy. Hopefully I can strike a nice balance between having all those things that you and most of my fans appreciate, like a great story and exceptional renders, combined with some tropes that will please the market's majority. Penny's game will be more story focused. It's certainly going to be my passion project. Petal should cater to the more relationship focused crowd. Two projects is a lot of work but it'll be worth it in the end to be able to work with Penny and to be able to please the market with Petal. Not to say Petal's game won't be incredible too but it'll be considerably less ambitious. Thanks for the information, Troz. A big part of this is finding out what people like. This helps! And again, I truly appreciate your support.

2021-06-28 11:57:31 +0000 UTCYou should be proud of Both Avalon and Penny, and I wish you success with Petal. I'm no authority on what will work for you, but I know what games I like - and hate. I certainly know that my heart sinks when I see a "school setting" tag on F95, or when I see yet another "let's go to the dress shop and try on clothes" scene. On the other hand, maybe there is a demand for those things, which is why everyone does them. What I do like are: - interesting stories - good narration (including reasonable literacy) - characters I actually care about - some care going into the renders, and not just the stock DAZ models - non-repetitive gameplay. There are quite a few games that promised well at the beginning but which I subsequently abandoned out of boredom. Good luck.

I’m pretty sure you have a win with Avalon and one on the rising with Pennys game if it’s anything like the prologue in which I’m sure it will. Petal is adorable and can’t wait for her story.
