Dear Supporters,

Penny's prologue has been successfully released so that means I have started working on A Petal Among Thorns. I've made tremendous progress on it and I'm excited to get the first release out.

I've done over 100 new renders, finished two more scenes and add tons of code and dialogue. I had a lot of trouble last week because the renders were taking an obnoxiously long time. This in itself isn't a problem but the heat that my computer was generating made it impossible to sleep so I'm a little worn out.

I've finished the scene that was taking so long to render though and it should be smooth sailing from here onward. I have four more scenes in mind that I'd like to do and then release. It'll be an average size release with over 400 renders and at least 25,000 words. I don't think I'm going to hit my 4,000 lines of code but we'll see.

Petal's game is a huge test. I want to see if this is something that appeals to more people because Penny, while well received, seems to be embedded in a small niche group. I hope Petal's game will target a larger audience to bring more attention to my work. If it's generally disliked, I'll keep it a short novel with about four or five release.

Petal and the MC find an indoor heated pool and enjoy a relaxing soak while having a nice conversation. She's turning out to be a real sweetheart, I think you guys will like her.
