So, it can only be black or white when it comes to shows? Might as well say "tragedy or comedy". Chernobyl isn't sad for the sake of being sad. Like Band of Brothers, it's recounting a real event. And while a lot of these real events have tragedy, that's also where the light, the hope, shines brightest. Camilla must have noticed this with Band of Brothers. After the fighting stopped and the soldiers had their moments of rest, those are moments to be considered more precious than if we're laughing all through a comedy until we choke.

2025-02-13 06:38:47 +0000 UTCWhile Chernobyl is a great choice, it would be like just beating Camilla over the head with trauma over and over (she has been watching sad shows back to back) - True Detective at least offers that suspense, drama beyond just the shock value of it all. I'm certain she would love both, but I'd say True Detective is a better choice at the moment.
