These are always super big moments as a kid. Being sat even nearby your crush is an earthquake of an event. Something that feels like your entire life can change. Just like when your best friends is sat next to your crush and you aren’t. The jealousy can really eat you up. In my case, I think this degree of separation was positive, it made it casual and not committed.
