After losing his eye in Adolla, he began doubting the Holy Sol religion—especially after learning its founder Raffles was fake. Seeing the Evangelist through Haumea gave him something real to believe in, even if it meant following her destructive path. Though he didn’t want the world to burn, he felt powerless to resist and hoped Shinra could stop him and become a new symbol of hope. R.I.P a real one. And Iris definitely did sum may god bless you to stop maki and them from dying, what is her power?
