2025-05-05 00:48:49 +0000 UTCDon't feel bad about being confused, this season had to adapt A LOT of content from the novels and sometimes they kind of just keep chugging along with things happening (like Satella appearing out of nowhere) when the reasons aren't very obvious. One thing I did want to point out though is when Subaru called Daphne "Mother," he was just poking fun at the fact that she was the one who created the Three Great Mabeasts, so she is basically their mother.

2025-05-04 23:24:49 +0000 UTCThe flashback Subaru sees isn't the future, what he lived was real with the Great Rabbit. He got eaten alive and died, then returned. Echidna saying "all they leave behind is a deserted field" made him remember why the Sanctuary was void of anyone besides himself and the Great Rabbit I really liked your post episode discussion, despite being confused, you addressed good points!
