I felt that when Subaru acts out it’s annoying but after doing my second watch through with you I feel a bit more understanding. Dying so much and seeing dark stuff but not being able to save anyone must take a huge mental toll. Rem really pulled through for him and got him out the dark

2025-03-10 02:42:16 +0000 UTCAh yes the infamous "I love emilia" scene its pretty infamous cause it was so jarring to have subaru reject rem like that after her confession that it brought rem stocks all the way up and subaru and emilia stocks down that people didn't like them at the time but I appreciate him not leading her on. Fun Fact: The author created a non-canon side story on what would happen if Rem had run away with Subaru, and it's called the Sloth iF
