I've watched the entire series about 4 times, and it is actually what got me into martial arts. Seeing Ippo taking that first step (literally what hajime no ippo means) and overcoming obstacle after obstacle never fails to motivate me. I love that you are reacting to one of my favorite series. The show is great now but it get SOOOOOOO much better later on, it's almost unbeliavable. And I'll make sure to be here for the entire ride! Great reaction as always!

Maybe you already went back and saw it, but the reason everyone's hyping up Volg even though he's a new pro, is because he already has 200 amateur fights, and was the Amateur World Champion before going pro. So he's got a ton of technique and experience.
