Podcast #319 - Questions Wanted!

Hello Friends!

We're all set to record another podcast but would love some more questions from you lovely lot. This is for the TripleJump Podcast! Remember, as our esteemed financial supporters, we'll be exclusively coming to you for weekly discussion topics, so please read the following guidelines before submitting:

- No controversial or naughty questions please

- This is a video game podcast about video games so please keep the questions video-game-related

- Going forwards, we'd love it if you can base your questions on any video game news that drops in the week. It doesn't just have to be big serious stories though, so ask us about anything you find on the web. While we will still answer non-news questions from time to time, we're hoping that with a different focus we can avoid repetition.

- If there's a particular event or happening in the industry that you'd like us to discuss in detail, feel free! We like to address one 'big question' per week to headline each show, and pepper in smaller questions throughout

- Try to avoid topics we've covered before

- "Questions on a postcard" (don't make your question too long!)

- We typically record on Thursday morning, so try to get your questions in by Wednesday afternoon!

Thanks all! We look forward to reading through your offerings, and we can't overstate how much we appreciate your support on Patreon and elsewhere!

love ya <3

BBC News - PS5 price increases by £40 as Sony cites 'challenging' conditions - BBC News https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ce82391x2kyo

So sorry, I'm double dipping but I've just seen this: Please see greeting from earlier submitted question: The price of the PS5 is now rising by £40 in the UK and €50 in Europe, taking it from cheaper than the Switch 2 to more expensive than the Switch 2, do you think this is an isolated incident or are we about to see price hikes across the industry? The price point of the Switch 2 has reportedly given Sony the, quote unquote, green light to increase the console prices so does this imply we're about to see an increase in physical game prices for the PS5 too? Are we about to get a similar announcement from XBox? Gaming is already rather prohibitively expensive for casual gamers or people looking to get into the hobby, and it looks like the prices are going to keep on hiking. Yours sincerely (again) Wee Carrot

Hiya whatever combination of BAP we're getting this week and also hello James Jenkins. Probably a week late with this question but were any of you invited to pre-order the Switch 2? If so will you pre-order? Are you going to buy the Switch 2 close to release or are you going to wait until they start tapering off on making new games for the original Switch (which is what Mr Carrot and I will be doing)? yours sincerely Wee Carrot
