A lil self critic post!
As an artist it´s always important to be critical of your own work, especially on the sketching stage. When we draw and finish a sketch, we tend to go "blind" to our mistakes. My advice is to wait either a few hours, or a day or two to have a new vision! You will most likely instantly notice things that you didn´t before!
♥ Her head was too big
♥ Her ribbon too symmetrical which made it lose dynamic
♥ Her waist and ribcage´s form wasn´t flattering.
♥ Eyes too round and big.
♥ Face too round.
Then there are things that you figure out way after--like after you start to colour!
In this case, during line stage, I found the right side of her hair much more appealing-- But as soon as I started to colour I realized the left side suited my shading style much more! Something to learn to next time! Hope you could also learn from this!
Cheers ♥
