Ryousuke, Jun and Chris are all on college teams in separate areas.
It's honestly so realistic that Eijun would be tense after getting the ace number. It's like handing someone a 50 pound weight and asking them to continue on as normal with it. They have to find their bearings first before they can just carry it with ease and continue on like they used to. I appreciate Miyuki and Koushuu trying to calm him down and really remind him of how far he's come.

I think he was calling out to Kaneda since the pitchers were working on their fielding together.

Great episode, any chance we will get a vid on your thoughts about Berserk and other manga you're reading?

One thing I also appreciate is they show how only Furuya actually understands what Eijun is going through.

Chris will always be a character that I can’t forget because of his impact in general on everything, especially Eijun’s development and how much effort he put in to help create Eijun’s workout schedule/plan so he wouldn’t get injured and could build a strong foundation which is showing the fruits of its labor now. Chris is the Goat.

bro i love how these episodes highlight the 3rd years (that dont get that much shine). kawakami noticing sawamura straining in the dining hall and telling him to relax, what a goat fr
the "kane-yan" thing made me laugh LMFAO -yan is like a cute type honorific in japanese so i guess he was calling out to kanemaru in an endearing way kinda
big up my boy furuya too, he noticed how tense sawamura is so hes out there practicing his swings to take some of the pressure of his shoulders
