Underrated in my opinion because most of the people appreciate Eijun’s growth, Miyuki work as a captain or Eijun/Koshu relationship. But I swear that seeing Eijun and Furuya building the best rivalry is lowkey the best part of the story.

Some have larger strike zones some have smaller strike zones. This can lots of times be annoying for players. Why an umpire can call something a strike that could be off by a lot simple because at the end of the day they are using the best judgement they have.

Americans have a larger body than Japanese, so the range of strike zones is a bit different. By the rule, the strike zone is defined as the space above home plate and between the batter’s knees and the midpoint of their torso. Although The rules on this strike zone are common in both Japan and the United States, Both countries differ slightly from this rule. In both countries the strike zone tends to be wider on the outside. And the strike zone of Major League is wider outside than the Japanese one. Since the referee is Japanese, they are currently governing the match according to Japanese rules, which gives them a bit of a home field advantage.
