I am Going to Canada...

Okay so for real, on May 3rd I will be travelling to Toronto. It will be my first ever time in Canada actually! I'm flying out to learn more about the Disaster of Air Canada Flight 621. (The subject of the next episode). I will be visiting the site of the accident, gathering footage for the video and learning more about the stories of those who perished.
I wanted take the opportunity to let you all in on the progress on this one as it is going to be quite big. I am still writing the script, 80% of which is about finished. Work has started on the Simulator reconstruction. Still working on ideas about how to work out the animation during the crash sequence. (Its a miracle that the DC8 works in X-plane 12 at all)
My aim is before I got away on this trip, to have all other aspects of the video primed so when I come back on May 7th, I can jump straight into editing and have the video ready sometime Mid-May.
I have wanted to make a video on this for so long and the time has finally come.

I hope you have good weather for the filming. Tim Horton’s coffee is nothing to write home about, but it’s worth getting something for the picture. As for poutine, the further you get from Quebec the worse it gets (I say this to raise the ire of anyone not from Quebec, or Ottawa). You may not have any spare time, but if you do consider driving to Hamilton to visit the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum (https://www.warplane.com/). It’s well worth the visit.
